• Bottled-in-Bond straight malted rye whiskey distilled at New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky • Distilled from 100% non-GMO, malted rye grain • Open top, sour mash fermentation incorporating distiller’s yeast • Twice distilled; the first run in a Vendome copper column still followed by distillation in a copper continuous doubler • Aged a minimum of 6 years in 53-gallon new oak barrels that have been toasted and charred • Powdered sugar, tempered oak, plum skin and pear on the nose precede a plump palate of saltwater taffy, clove, and compelling notes of malt; the refined finish displays focused baking spice and pink peppercorn • Gold medalist at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition • Non-chill filtered: 50% ABV From New Riff: “Malted rye is a rye grain that has undergone the process of malting, a controlled germination and drying process.
