This 17-year-old-rum was aged in bourbon and Cognac casks, and it is bottled at cask strength of 115.8 proof (57.9% ABV). This 2006 Foursquare distilled rum is a departure in flavor profile from many other aged rum bottlings distilled by Foursquare, with heavy industrial notes, rancio from the Cognac cask aging, and deep caramelized molasses flavors.
