2018 Pajarito Gran Reserva Pinot Noir

Bright ruby red in the glass, this Pinot Noir chirps with plum, black cherry, and earthy notes on the nose. Cherry hints are joined by vanilla and oak, imparted from a portion of the wine being aged in French oak barrels. Grapes were grown in vineyards in Loncomilla, located in the heart of the Maule Valley. One of Chile’s oldest wine regions, Maule Valley has diverse terroir and a Mediterranean climate, with cool ocean breezes tempering warm, sunny days. A long growing season allows grapes to ripen slowly, leading to wines with concentrated flavor. This Pinot Noir was crafted by Cremaschi Furlotti, a family winery celebrating more than 130 years of winemaking. Known for crafting distinctive and elegant wines, Cremaschi Furlotti is also committed to sustainability and protecting the environment; it was one of the first wineries to be accredited with the Wines of Chile Sustainable Certification.
