Mild winters are followed by hot summer days with cool nights tempered by fresh coastal breezes. Since 2008, El Macho has been made exclusively from grapes grown by a cooperative of 3,500 families, some of whom have been members for more than 60 years. A common belief in what they call a “slow wine” allows for the careful observation of every step of the process, in vineyard and cellar, granting the wine time to properly express itself.
