2020 Finca del Marquesado Tempranillo Blanco Rioja

Made from 100% Tempranillo Blanco grapes, 2020 Finca del Marquesado Tempranillo Blanco is no exception. Finca del Marquesado, from one of the region’s most sustainably focused, historic families, pours bright and clean yellow with subtle shades of green. Opening with a wildflower-driven bouquet, it offers aromas of pear, melon, and white apricot with hints of fennel, anise, and dill. The palate is smooth and flavorful, carrying into a fresh, lingering finish. Like how Pinot Gris is a mutation of Pinot Noir, Tempranillo Blanco spun off from Spain’s star red grape and is found exclusively in Rioja.
