Taste
The Arak Brun 5 Year is a complex spirit that greets you with strong anise and licorice aromas on the nose, inviting you to explore its depths. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious blend of herbal undertones and fruity notes, making it versatile for enjoyment before or after a meal. When mixed with ice-cold water, it transforms beautifully, showcasing the "Louche Effect" that adds a layer of complexity, enhancing both the flavor and aroma for a truly unique experience.

History
Arak Brun 5 Year is made from the alcohol of estate grown Obeidi and Cinsault grapes, harvested at optimum ripeness, and blended with fresh anise. Since 2015, Domaine des Tourelles grows its own anise in Deir el Ahmar, a village in the district of Baalbek. Their arak is produced inside a hundred-year-old cellar, processed traditionally using a three-stage distillation in traditional alembics, and aged for 5 years in old clay jars. Its production has been uninterrupted since the inception of the winery in 1868! It exposes a historical and cultural heritage deeply inserted in the Middle East, particularly in regions like Israel, Lebanon, and Palestine. The production of Arak involves a meticulous process of distillation, infusion with aniseed, and a distinct dilution ritual that defines its consumption. This drink, often enjoyed during social gatherings and celebrations, encapsulates the essence of Middle Eastern hospitality and craftsmanship, making it not just a beverage, but a symbol of tradition and community.

Please drink responsibly, you must be at least 21 years of age to drink alcoholic beverages.
