Seventy years of aging. Armenian brandy from the Yerevan Brandy Company — crafted from endemic Armenian grape varieties grown in the Ararat valley, one of the world's oldest wine and spirits regions.
The Yerevan Brandy Company was founded in 1887 in Yerevan, Armenia, and has been producing ARARAT brandies for over 130 years. The distillery sits in the Ararat valley — the fertile plain between Mount Ararat and the Armenian highlands, often described as the "cradle of life" and one of humanity's oldest agricultural regions. The endemic Armenian grape varieties grown here — including Kangun, Voskehat, and Mskhali — produce a distillate base with a character specific to this ancient terroir.
The Erebuni 70 Year represents the apex of the ARARAT collection: a brandy aged for 70 years in Limousin and Armenian oak, drawing from the rarest reserves in the Yerevan Brandy Company's cellars. At 70 years, this is among the oldest commercially available brandies in the world. The aging duration alone places it in a category occupied by perhaps a handful of other expressions globally. The Erebuni name references the ancient fortress of Erebuni — built in 782 BC near present-day Yerevan by the Urartu Kingdom — Armenia's oldest fortified settlement.
