Ardmore Single Malt is a lightly peated Highland single malt from Ardmore Distillery near Kennethmont in Aberdeenshire — traditionally the heart malt of Teacher’s blended Scotch — presenting sweet tobacco, chocolate, orange, and spice with gentle peat notes throughout and wonderful malty tones, subtle but complex in the mouth with a lively flow and emerging flavours.

Ardmore Distillery was established in 1898 by Adam Teacher, the son of William Teacher of the Teacher’s blended Scotch brand. Unusually for a Highland distillery, Ardmore uses lightly peated malted barley for its characteristic gentle peat smoke — the same peat influence that gives Teacher’s its distinctive Highland character. The single malt expression presents the Ardmore character directly without the blending. Browse the full Scotch whisky collection at Wooden Cork.
