Booker's Bourbon Batch 2025-03 “Jerry’s Batch”

A High-Proof Homage to a Bourbon Pioneer

The third release in the 2025 Booker’s Bourbon Collection, “Jerry’s Batch” honors Jerry Dalton—the only Master Distiller in Beam history not from the Beam family. Though not Beam by blood, Jerry’s scientific rigor and mentorship left an indelible mark on the distillery’s legacy. This batch is a heartfelt tribute from Fred Noe, 7th Generation Master Distiller, to the man who helped shape his path and the brand’s evolution.

Crafted from barrels aged 7 years, 9 months, and 19 days, this small-batch bourbon is bottled at a fiery 125.8 proof (62.90% ABV). It’s a true expression of Booker’s signature style—uncut, unfiltered, and unapologetically bold.

Tasting Notes

  • 👃 Nose: Warm vanilla, cedar-spiced oak, brown sugar, and baking spice
  • 🥃 Palate: Caramel-toffee, toasted oak char, dried fruit, and deep rye spice
  • 🔥 Finish: Long, rich, and warming with peppery heat, mellow oak tannins, and soft leather edges

What Makes “Jerry’s Batch” Special

  • Named in honor of Jerry Dalton, a pivotal figure in Beam’s distilling history
  • Aged across nine different warehouses, capturing diverse microclimate influences
  • Uncut & unfiltered, delivering a raw, barrel-strength experience
  • Limited release and highly collectible within the 2025 Booker’s series
  • Aged 7 years, 9 months, 19 days—a testament to patience and precision

How to Enjoy
Given its high proof and layered complexity, this bourbon is best enjoyed neat or with a large ice cube to open up its full character. It also makes a commanding base for a premium Old Fashioned or Manhattan, where its oak and spice shine through.
