Since 2015, a new, unique variant of the Oude Geuze Boon with its own blend has been released approximately every year. These different 'Black Label' editions each have a highly original taste, but all stand for real full-bodiedness and a dry finish. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Brouwerij Boon  , we launched the first edition of our Oude Geuze Boon Black Label  in 2015. We make this special beer with a selection of lambic beers from the oak barrels - our  foeders  - with the  highest fermentation degree : almost all fermentable sugars are actually fermented in them. Before the 'Black Label' leaves the brewery, it matures in our cellars for at least a year. The very high fermentation degree makes the Oude Geuze Boon Black Label  extra dry . At the same time, this beer is  very full-bodied , thanks to the components created by the wild yeasts. Because this special variant of the Oude Geuze Boon continues to be popular, we make a new edition approximately every year, which is always a little different. In the meantime, you can already   discover different editions .

Vintage
Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is given a different edition number for each new blend. Each edition is therefore unique. The 'Black Label' editions share the combination of a dry aftertaste with a full-bodied feeling. However, there are also quite a few aromatic differences between the different editions.
