If you know Mannochmore and if you like Mannochmore, you will love this malt! Top quality and constantly changing. We, at Whisky Drop are Mannochmore fans and we cannot avoid scoring this expression very highly after several tastings. This particular Mannochmore was distilled in 1993 and bottled at 28 years. It is, of course, presented at natural cask strength and is non-chill filtered and non-coloured. Total outturn was 125 bottles.
Nose: An abundance of juicy tropical fruit fills the nose, with pineapple as the highlight. This is complemented by honeycomb, light oak, Chinese sweet and sour sauce and lime cake.
Palate: The flavours vary between sweet fruit and white spicy with biscuits and bread in between.
Finish: Gets spicier with freshly ground pepper.
