Compass Box Metropolis

Metropolis, our third release in the Extinct Blends Quartet, pays homage to the vibrant energy of bustling cities through the ages. Blended Scotch whisky has its roots in the metropolis, with blending vats in Glasgow and Edinburgh producing bottles that found their way into urban landscapes across the globe. This blend captures the essence of the city and the soul of blended Scotch whisky.

On the nose, Metropolis opens with inviting notes of vanilla, followed by a delightful medley of different honeys. Subtle hints of fudge, apricot, and pineapple emerge, leading to the emergence of fresh fig. The palate offers a rich and incredibly complex experience, with flavors of sultana, apricot, and a touch of smoky woodiness intertwining harmoniously. The finish is long and sweet, leaving a satisfying weight on the palate.
