Doc Swinson's Blenders Cut Bourbon

When creating the blends for our whiskeys it is often true that the only person that ever tastes the origin blends for many of our finished cask releases is our blender, Jesse Parker. Many times these blends never leave the blending lab; but every once in a while, we take note of the ones enjoyed the most.

Our Blenders Cut Bourbon is one of these, the very origin blend that was refined originally for Doc’s awarded Alter Ego Triple Cask Bourbon. This expression was not only released to showcase the Alter Ego Triple Cask Bourbon’s roots, but because it is an exceptional straight bourbon we truly enjoy. Blenders Cut Bourbon is blended using a labor intense and skillful method of cask selection ,ensuring the resulting whiskey is bottled at a cask strength of 115 proof every time. Mash-Bills:

• 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% Malted Barley
• 60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley

Barrel Types:

• American white oak 200L
• Aged a minimum of 5 years

Sensory Notes:

Stone fruits, vanilla, pecans, oak and fresh cream

 Apricot leather, brown sugar, peanuts, dark cherries, and marzipan
