The thicker, ridged 9mm E61 group gasket, built specifically for machines whose portafilters have worn enough that they no longer lock up at the correct six o'clock center position, instead pulling too far to the right when engaged.

DIY-friendly, similar difficulty to the standard 8mm gasket, a pick or gasket removal tool helps with the old one.

PRO TIPS

• SEMI-COMMERCIAL MODEL USERS NOTE: prosumer machines from Expobar, ECM Giotto, Isomac, and Quick Mill claim a true E61 group, but their inside diameter runs tighter than spec for this gasket. For those specific machines, use the W_556A instead of this one.
