Description: Foursquare Rum Distillery «Mandamus» (Exceptional Cask Selection Mark XXIX) is a highly collectible single-blended rum from Barbados, crafted under the direction of Master Blender Richard Seale. The blend—distilled on both pot‐stills and Coffey columns—was aged for a total of 16 years: 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels and a further 6 years in ex-Port pipes. Bottled at 57% ABV (114 proof) with no added sugar, colorings or filtration, Mandamus delivers deep complexity with terroir‐driven character. On the nose: rich blackberries, ripe pineapple, sour plum, sultanas, vanilla caramel, ginger, hazelnut, walnut and blackcurrant. The palate is lush and full, offering black cherries, raspberries, Victoria plums, sultanas and a subtle orange peel brightness. The finish lingers long with dark chocolate, black tea, white pepper, mellow chilli warmth and toasty oak. A masterpiece of Caribbean rum craftsmanship, this release is built for serious rum enthusiasts and collectors alike.
