Taste
George T. Stagg Bourbon Whiskey 2019 opens with an intense wave of rich, dark chocolate and caramel, enveloping the palate in a luxurious embrace. The robust oak influence is complemented by notes of vanilla and a hint of dried fruit, creating a harmonious balance. As it evolves, the bourbon reveals spicy undertones of cinnamon and clove, adding complexity to its profile. The finish is long and warming, with a subtle smokiness that lingers, inviting another sip of this unforgettable spirit.

History
George T. Stagg Bourbon Whiskey 2019 is a unique spirit, undoubtedly one of the most iconic and exclusive bottles in the Stagg collection. It is bottled at a high alcohol volume of 116.9 proof and is aged no less than 15 years, straight out of the barrel, uncut, and unfiltered. It is part of Buffalo Trace Distillery's “Antique Collection” series, which features rare bourbons, released annually but still hard to obtain. Named in honor of the founder George T. Stagg, it reflects a legacy of craftsmanship that began in 1878 with the establishment of the Old Fashioned Copper Distillery. Over the years, Stagg made significant innovations in whiskey aging, including the introduction of climate-controlled warehouses. Following a tumultuous partnership with E.H. Taylor, Stagg successfully rebranded his distillery, winning numerous awards. The distillery's history is intertwined with notable figures like Albert Blanton, who would later become a key player in bourbon production. In 1992, the distillery was acquired by the Sazerac Company and renamed Buffalo Trace Distillery, solidifying its reputation as one of the oldest and most revered distilleries in America.

Please drink responsibly, you must be at least 21 years of age to drink alcoholic beverages.
