With the Alex Duetto IV Plus, you get all of the features of a professional coffee machine in a more home-oriented package. There are two stainless steel insulated boilers with 1.8 liters of steam and 0.8 liters of brew, a silent ball bearing pump that allows you to choose between a water reservoir or direct water line connection, and a PID for precise temperature settings. The steam and hot water wands, for instance, are non-burn and the entire unit is built entirely from double-walled stainless steel. Also, this machine has some unique features, such as an independent switch for activating or deactivating the steam or brew boiler.

Whether you look at this from the inside or outside, the quality of the materials is impressive, including the stainless steel boilers which help with temperature stability. The only downside to the heavy stainless steel construction is the heat up time. Stainless steel boilers take longer to heat up to the ideal temperature compared to copper or brass. We recommend turning the machine on at least 30 minutes before usage.
