Mater Italian Blended Cane Rum hails from the sun-soaked region of Sicily, Italy, where the purple and yellow sugarcane varieties are masterfully combined to create a rum that celebrates the island’s vibrant terroir. Crafted with precision, its wild-selected yeast ferments the fresh cane juice over 72–96 hours under controlled temperatures, before being distilled in a copper bain-marie still. The single discontinuous distillation method ensures a pure, crystalline spirit with a silky texture and remarkable depth.  

On the nose, Mater captivates with its aromatic bouquet of lemon blossom, sweet orange, apricot jam, and a delicate marine note laced with thyme and brine. The palate is dry yet clean, delivering a harmonious medley of ripe apricot, candied orange, rosemary, and thyme. Its silky texture warms the senses, leading to a refreshing finish marked by long-lasting notes of orange peel, mint, and thyme, with lingering whispers of lemon verbena and mint on the empty glass.  

This 52.5% ABV rum is best savored neat or over ice to experience its complex layers fully.
