• Mezcal produced in Candelaria Yegolé, Zoquitlán, Oaxaca • Maestro Mezcalero Vicente Sánchez Parada • Made from 100% Mexicano (Agave rhodacantha) • Cooked in a traditional earthen pit oven • Milled using a traditional stone tahona  • Open-air, spontaneously fermented in pine and cypress vats (tinas) using river water • Distilled twice using copper pot stills  • Bold aromatics of fresh rawhide, tobacco leaf, damp garden soil, and bell peppers dominate the nose; the palate diversifies with cinnamon and citrus, wet cedar and orchard fruit, but remains just as baritone until the finish vanishes into delicate white flowers and peppercorns • 48% ABV (ABV may vary batch to batch) A whiskey drinker’s mezcal if ever there was one!
