History
Michter's 10 Year Bourbon 2020 is created with tradition in mind at the Michter's Distillery in Kentucky, Louisville. It was developed in pursuit of Michter’s goal of making the greatest American whiskey. The roots of Michter's trace back to the 18th century when a Swiss Mennonite farmer, John Shenk, settled near Pennsylvania's Blue Mountain Valley. With an abundance of grains from his harvest, Shenk began distilling whiskey, establishing what would become the United States' first distilling company. Over the years, Michter's has focused on craftsmanship and innovation, resulting in a barrel strength bourbon that undergoes additional aging in a custom barrel, enhancing its rich and complex flavor profile.
