Michter's 10-year rye is produced in even smaller quantities than the 10-year bourbon — itself already an extremely limited release. The rye program draws on 10-year aged Kentucky rye whiskey stock at Michter's Fort Nelson facility, presenting it at the standard 84.8 proof that allows the rye grain character and decade of oak maturation to integrate without proof heat dominating the profile.

The 2017 Batch A37 is now 8 years from its original release, adding secondary market age to the product's inherent limited production rarity.
