Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial Pharrell Williams Limited Edition is a collaboration between the Maison Moët & Chandon — founded in Épernay in 1743 and the largest vineyard owner in Champagne, with nearly 1,300 hectares across the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, Sézanne, and the Aube — and Pharrell Williams, the Grammy-winning musician and creative director of menswear at Louis Vuitton, whose connection to Moët & Chandon is organic through LVMH's shared ownership of both houses. The collaboration was conceived around the theme of birthday celebrations and anchored by a rediscovery from the Maison's archives: the iconic cravat that has adorned the Moët bottle since 1892, originally designed as a bow — a symbol of unity, generosity, joy, and surprise that Williams reinterprets across the collection. For the standard Brut Impérial edition, the bottle arrives dressed in one of three colorways — Midnight Blue, Gold, or Deep Red — with Pharrell's signature rendered in white dot pearl lettering on both the bottle and its matching gift box, making each piece a collector's item in its own right.

The liquid inside is Moët & Chandon's flagship non-vintage Brut Impérial, assembled by Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez from over 200 crus across the Champagne appellation and all three regional grape varieties — Pinot Noir for structure and body, Pinot Meunier for roundness and fruit, and Chardonnay for elegance and lift. The Maison's distinctive house style is anchored by a significant proportion of reserve wines from previous years, blended into each assemblage to ensure consistency of character and to introduce a complexity of depth that no single vintage alone could provide. Secondary fermentation proceeds in the bottle in the traditional method, building the fine, persistent mousse that Brut Impérial has been known for across nearly three centuries of continuous production.

The nose is immediately expressive — fresh citrus fruits and green apple opening into floral and mineral nuances that develop with time in the glass. The palate is a harmonious balance of generosity and refinement, with pear, peach, and apple framed by delicate, persistent bubbles and a subtle gooseberry brightness that provides lift through the finish. The close is clean and lively, with a golden hue and the characteristic elegance that has made Brut Impérial the reference point for accessible prestige Champagne across generations. A bottle worth keeping, and a Champagne worth opening.
