Blanc de Blancs 4 grams dosage. 2016, reserve 2015-2012This "Grower Champagne" wowed for less the typical acid/ mineral only aroma set of Pierre Gimonnet's Cuis Premier Cru and more for its fun mix of fruit, minerality and cream notes. The bottle we tasted was based on 2016 with a reserve drawn from 2012-2015. The nose opens with a clean minerality with just there suggestions of nectarine, cream and preserved lemons. The palate is light and focused with a wonderful upfront cream, apricot preserves, preserved lemon, and an acid core that calls to mind wet river stones.Disgorged May 2021
