For this exceptional release, Alexandre Gabriel journeyed deep into Panama’s lush jungle to the remote Don José Distillery—built on the site of the country’s first sugar mill. There, he selected 22 barrels of the finest 2010 vintage, shaped by the region’s tropical climate.
Aged 8 years in Panama and finished with 5 more in French oak casks in France, this limited release showcases Plantation Rum’s signature double-aging. Rich with ripe fruit, fresh coconut, and bold spice, it’s a vibrant, sensory tribute to its adventurous origin.
NOSE
Fragrant and fruity on fresh coconut and dill, plum, nectarine, citrus, almond, cinnamon, vanilla, honey and sesame.
PALATE
Fresh, fruity and spicy with pear, berries, orange and figs with butterscotch and hints of coffee, pepper and custard.
FINISH
Long and dry on coconut, banana, tobacco, all spices, chocolate and licorice.
