PTFE Ball Gasket for Rancilio Steam Wand
This is the small PTFE collar that lets a ball-joint steam wand swivel smoothly instead of binding or leaking at the nut. The bore is beveled on purpose, that bevel is what rides against the ball and lets the wand rotate freely.

INSTALLATION
Straightforward, but positioning matters, see the Pro Tip below before you tighten the wand nut down.
PRO TIPS
- Straight from Rancilio's technical department: take care when replacing this collar to avoid damage, and confirm it's seated correctly in its groove before you mount the wand. If it's sitting crooked, gently correct it with a screwdriver rather than forcing the wand nut down over it, cinching it in place misaligned is what causes the wand to bind or weep at the swivel.
