Commercial Description:
Sorgin is the first spirit of Sabine and François Lurton, winemaker and owner of domains in France and abroad, descending from a line of Bordeaux winegrowers. It is diversifies in 2016 with the distillation activity, inherited from his great grandfather Léonce Récapet (1880). This distilled gin is a link between wine and spirit, inspired by Sauvignon Blanc, François’ favorite grape variety.
Its name “Sorgin” (witch in Basque) refers to its origin in the South West and to the spirit of conviviality of Basque celebrations.
Sorgin is unique in its base of wine brandy and its natural Sauvignon Blanc aroma, which and 6 different botanicals: citrus zest, lemon zest, lemon grass, and (Grapefruit, lemon and lime), Violet, Broom, Blackcurrant bud. A premium gin delicate and fruity.
