This Reposado tequila showcases the exceptional quality of 100% Blue Weber agave (A. tequilana) and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into its production.

Starting with the finest hand-selected Blue Weber agave, Maestro Padilla oversees a traditional process that honors the heritage of tequila production. The agave hearts are cooked for two days in a traditional stone and brick oven, allowing the flavors to develop and mature. This slow and precise cooking process brings out the richness and complexity of the agave.

After cooking, the agave is milled using a mechanical roller mill, ensuring the perfect extraction of flavors. The resulting agave juice is then fermented in stainless steel tanks, allowing the natural sugars to transform into the unique flavors that define Tepozán Reposado.

To create this exceptional Reposado, the tequila undergoes a meticulous double distillation process using state-of-the-art stainless steel pot stills. This process captures the essence of the agave, resulting in a tequila of unparalleled quality and character.

The journey continues as the Reposado tequila rests for a harmonious period of four months in ex-bourbon barrels. This aging process imparts a rich honeyed appearance and infuses the tequila with exquisite oaky notes of vanilla and burnt caramel. These flavors beautifully complement the deep, warm cinnamon and peppercorn notes inherited from the Blanco expression.
