History
The Macallan The Harmony Collection Rich Cacao is the first release in a collaboration with world-renowned pastry chef Jordi Roca. It is a premium Scotch which is matured at The Macallan distillery, established since 1824. The Easter Elchies House, the spiritual home of The Macallan, overlooks the River Spey. In 1820, Alexander Reid sowed barley fields and founded the estate's first licensed distillery, named after an ancient church. The estate spans 370 acres, with 95 devoted to producing Minstrel barley. The meticulous processes of malting, mashing, and distilling contribute to the whisky’s rich character, making it a standout in the world of Scotch.
