Wayne Gretzky Four Grain Whisky is the third release in the Gretzky Estates Craftsmanship Series.
This 5-year whisky is a beautiful marriage of malted whiskies, meticulously blended to capture the best of each grain and create an orchestra of unique flavors and aromas. These whiskies are then aged in American virgin oak and once-used American bourbon casks.
Nose: Gentle nose with expected vanilla, caramel and citrus lurking behind.
Palate: Surprisingly creamy mouthfeel given its youthfulness. The wheat and rye combine for a pleasant spicy note that plays well against the sweetness of the maple cask finishing.
Finish: Medium finish with the sweetness taking over at the end.
