Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc is a quintessential New Zealand “Sauvy” sourced from certified sustainable vineyards across the Wairau and Awatere valleys. 100% Marlborough grapes are harvested during the cool night hours to lock in the classic aromatic freshness, crisp acidity and thiols that this region is famous for. The nose delivers an aromatic bouquet of ripe citrus, green apple, lemongrass, and white peach, alongside classic regional touches of fresh cut grass and jalapeno (and yes, even the “cat pee on a gooseberry bush” ). On the palate, masterfully balanced structure showcases juicy tropical flavors of passion fruit and pineapple with a distinctive saline note all driven by a mouthwatering acidity and a long, clean finish.
