Yamazaki Mizunara Edition 2022 is a limited edition single malt whisky produced in a mere 1,000 bottles at the Yamazaki Distillery in Japan. Part of the esteemed 2022 Yamazaki Cask Series, this exquisite whisky has been matured in rare Japanese Mizunara oak, which imparts unique flavors and complexity. Established in 1923, the Yamazaki Distillery holds the distinction of being Japan's first commercial whisky distillery, founded by Shinjiro Torii of Suntory. Inspired by traditional Scottish whisky-making, Torii sought to create a Japanese version that reflects the unique climate and terrain of Japan. Suntory has since gained international acclaim for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Nestled at the foot of the Yi-Lan mountains, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Yamazaki Distillery continues to produce exceptional whiskies.
