The sort of bubbly that I always like to have in the fridge in case of impromptu celebration, this value-for-money bubbly would outperform a number of more expensive Champagnes. Pale, subtle, scented and youthful with summer berry flavours and a backbone of chalky acidity.

This méthode cap classique (South African fizz made in the same way as Champagne) from SA stalwart Graham Beck has a lovely creamy red fruit and apple character, with a rich mousse and brioche finish. It has a vibrant raspberry acidity and a long finish. Great value.
Winemaker Notes
Pale silver-pink. Aromas of raspberries, cherries and a few secondary whiffs of minerality. A lively mousse but fine in the mouth, with subtle red berry flavors enlivened by bright acids. Brisk on the palate, showing hints of oyster shell and fresh lavender. Flirtatious and fun, yet elegant and structured, it's perfect for all seasons and settings.
