Owning the Profitec Pro T64

Profitec’s Pro T64 is a powerhouse prosumer-level grinder with 1950’s styling and a commercial-grade heart. At first glance, the Pro T64 distinguishes itself with its straightforward appearance. It's deceptively simple, with clean lines and a rectangular body that hides a pair of strong, flat stainless steel 64mm burrs and a 450 watt motor that can chew through 11 grams of coffee in about 2.5 seconds. In our experience, this matches or even exceeds most grinders in its price range. 

The worm gear is easy to use, even turning with just your thumb and pointer finger, and locks in your preferred grind setting so you won't run into any drift. This makes a great choice for the espresso brewer who wants a stepless grinder for dialing in the perfect shot. One thing to consider is that it takes time to adjust the grind setting with a worm gear because of how finely it adjusts. This makes the Pro T64 a bit of an espresso specialist, so take that into consideration if you're someone who needs to flip between coarse and fine grind sizes.
